Rebeca Azahar is an Architect who has over 12 years making hand painted crafts in El Salvador.
Since she was a little girl, she showed a strong inclination towards art. She started painting when she was 3 years old and his father – also an Architect – gave her the opportunity to “play” with his watercolors, professional paintbrushes and papers 😊.
Later, she chose a career in Architecture and enriched herself through her professional training, learning different illustration techniques.
Due to a complicated economic situation in El Salvador for the Construction Industry, Rebeca reinvented herself and reconnected with her passion for art, leveraging the technical foundations that she got from her professional career. She started her creations and soon developed her own brand, finding her own style.
Her paints are mainly focused in nature and its vibrant colors. She has been influenced by the Impressionism style, specially by Claude Monet.
To produce her hand crafts, she counts with her family support – her mom and her daughter – and she also has alliances with other artists/artisans.
Currently, she shows and sells her handcrafts at different exhibitions and fairs in her home country.
